Third Annual Pine Belt Community Prayer Gathering This Sunday evening, believers from all over the Pine Belt will gather for our 3rd Annual Community Prayer Gathering. I urge you to join us! It will be a powerful night of unity, encouragement, and awakening! I also want to challenge you with these three thoughts.
GETTING READY: (1) Prepare: I want to call on you to prepare! Take time to inventory your own life! I’d love for you to attend the event, but more than that, I want you to engage! Don’t be a spectator on the sideline. Ask God to prepare your heart now! Here is a guide to help you begin to consider how best to experience God in personal awakening! (2) Pray: Seek God throughout this weekend! Invest time praying! Here are a few tips. (3) Participate: Join us on Sunday evening (September 9 at 6:00 p.m.) for the Community Prayer Gathering as congregations from across the Pine Belt (across denominational, racial, socio-economic, & generational lines) gather to seek the Lord together in a time of prayer and praise! Praying is one of the things to release stress. Even though we do not have someone who can respond to us directly, we know that someone is listening and that is God. I cannot imagine life without talking to him because there are instances in life that we cannot talk our problems to others, but to God alone. We shouldn’t pray only if we have something to wish. We should pray to thank, to say and feel sorry and also to wish.

Participating in religion affairs is not bad at all. Actually, it is our way in order for us to be closer to people and to be closer to God. I have just observe that sometimes, religion does not make us one already and makes gap for us. I do hope that prayer will be very useful and our way to become closer to God and have his forgiveness about the sins we continuously do. We must prepare dearly before we become right by God’s side.
