MISSIONS MONTH @ H.S.B.C.
November is Missions Month at Hardy Street Baptist Church! Throughout the month we will emphasize our church’s involvement in spreading the gospel to our Neighbors, the Nations, & the Next Generation! Our “LOVE LOUD” emphasis continues throughout November, so we encourage you to pick up invite cards and participate through “intentional acts of Christ-likeness”! We will also have several several special guests in November. November 2nd & 6th - Mike Palmer Mike serves as Pastor of Salmon Valley Baptist Church and the Lemhi River Cowboy Church. He has served in ministry in Idaho for 20 years. Mike is the co-director and co-founder of the Wilderness Association of Cowboy Churches. He also serves as a Church Planting Network Director for the Utah-Idaho SBC. Mike and his wife, Michelle have one son and a grandson. November 10-12 - BMDMI National Conference - Check out the schedule here. We are proud to host the 2016 National Conference of Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI). We accomplish this mission by serving thousands in Honduras, Nicaragua, and Nepal with of love of Jesus Christ. Sunday, November 13 - 9:00 a.m. Missionary Reports in Sunday School Classes 10:30 a.m. Special Guest Speaker, Missionary Partner from S. Asia - November 13 Monday, November 14
Sunday, November 27 - Love Loud Celebration Service & Thanksgiving Love Offering Missions month will culminate with a celebration service of our Love Loud emphasis and our Thanksgiving love offering. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper that morning and we will share in giving back to the Lord with gratitude! We will also preview upcoming national and overseas mission trips. Our prayer is that next year more mission trips will be on our schedule than ever before. Those of us at H.S.B.C. have a unique opportunity with short-term missions. We have developed strategic partnerships with church planters, missionaries, and mission catalysts locally, globally, and internationally! Through the connections with the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board, Mission trips are special volunteer endeavors where a team of 3 to 20 people serve in cross-cultural contexts. Each trip combines projects to meet physical needs, while meeting spiritual needs through spreading the Love of Christ.
